Can you tell us a little bit about your background?

Yes my career has included 30 years with BHP Billiton Illawarra Coal. Becoming a Statutory Electrical Engineer in Charge of a coal mine has been a particular highlight for me. My achievement of the Six Sigma program through BHP has also proven to be very useful throughout my career.

Making a decision to break away from working at a mine directly to working in the supply chain has me given me a holistic view of the industry which has also been invaluable. Having spent 11 years working with Austdac Pty Ltd gave me a wealth of industry contacts and an understanding of manufacturing and its issues.

Where might we find you when you’re not working?

I enjoy motoring and travel and I am currently travelling through southern France with my wife!
